Look west tonight about half an hour after sunset, low over the rooftops.
If the sky is clear, you may catch a thin moon there, and it will get a little wider every night this week.

You Are Not Asking for Too Much by Wanting a Day and a Time
The new moon went dark on Saturday morning. This week it comes back the slow way, a sliver at a time, until it reaches first quarter on Sunday just after noon Eastern. Astrologers read the first quarter moon as the point where an intention has to become an action, not a wish but a move you could put on a calendar.
On Thursday night at 10:40 Eastern, Pluto stations direct after five months of moving backward. Astrologers read Pluto as the planet of power and of what gets kept out of sight, and its turn forward as the moment those things start coming into the open.
So the read for this week is plain. Watch what gets said out loud, and watch what gets put on a calendar.
Love that is going somewhere usually grows the way this moon does, in amounts you can count: a text answered the same day, a plan with a day on it, a second plan before the first one happens, a name for what you are to each other.
"Sometime" is the opposite. "We should get dinner sometime" has no day and no place on it, and it costs the person who said it nothing.
If someone from before has been back in touch, this is the week to notice whether he names a day. Not "soon" or "when things calm down," but Thursday at seven, with a place and a time.
You do not have to supply the date for him. A return that is going to last can name one on its own, and keep it.
If the phone has been silent, the same rule runs the other way. Count what has arrived, not what was promised. A promise with no date on it was never a plan, however warm it sounded in the moment.
And if there is no one right now, the first quarter moon still asks for one move. That move could be saying yes to the coworker's birthday drinks, or asking the friend who keeps offering to set you up for a name and a number.
You are allowed to want a day. You are allowed to want a time. You are allowed to want both in a text you can scroll back to.
By Sunday the moon will be half lit. Open your calendar then and count the plans that have days on them. Make sure at least one of them is yours.

If you are trying to tell a plan from a "sometime," Chosen in Love walks through how to read where a connection stands and what has to be different if someone comes back. It also includes a seven-day challenge you could start tonight.
